Being advocates of this statement, we decided to make packaging with increased respect to the environment and every element it has to offer.

We are using kraft paper as raw material, so obtaining the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification represented our main priority. According to it, the materials used in production are from responsibly managed forests and meet the highest environmental and social standards.

What does the FSC™ label on a product mean?

  • FSC 100% – means that all raw materials used in the production of the bags come from a certified forest, managed in accordance with the requirements of FSC™.
  • FSC Mix – means that the products are made using virgin kraft paper origined from well-managed FSC® -certified forests, recycled materials and other controlled sources.
  • FSC Recycled – means that all kraft paper the bags are made of comes from recycled materials. The FSC Recycled Credit or FSC Recycled 100% statement states that raw materials of this category do not come from a certified forest, but the supplier has given them a second life by using recycled materials in the production process.

In addition, being importer and distributor of Releaf Paper assures a sequence of sustainable actions in the production line: green waste fibers usage for the raw material, decreased carbon dioxide emissions and savings of resources during production. This, in turn, gives to our products an additional positive environmental impact.
