What is kraft paper?

Kraft comes from the German word “strong“, and this is how this material is best described.

Raw kraft is durable, tear-resistant, and brown in its initial state.

Ideal for creating durable wrapping kraft paper,sturdy paper bags and rigid boxes, kraft paper board is highly versatile for branded packaging solutions.

It can be found in different weights, depending on its intended use, from 70 to 150 gsm.

Based on the production technology used in order to obtain kraft paper, there are 4 types that we are using in the factory, each of them serving certain needs for brands.

Virgin kraft paper – characterized by no “bleaching” or further addition of chemicals other than those patented. It has great tear resistance and a high degree of stiffness.

Mixed kraft paper –a combination between virgin and recycled paper, with durability and sustainability for an optimal packaging solution.

Kraft recycled paper – perfect for sustaining a brand’s environmentally conscious reputation while also providing high-quality packaging for its customers.

Releaf paper natural kraft – a mixture of fallen leaves and recycled fibers, representing an 100% renewable and forest friendly alternative to regular packaging.
